Marketing is a moving feast. And a bit of a beast. What some people categorise as marketing other people scoff at.
What was marketing 10 years ago in some instances no longer exists.
What will be marketing in 10 months doesn’t yet exist.
I don’t define marketing as the technology that supports it but the outcomes it achieves.
The mechanisms may be the 4 Ps or the 7 Ps or anything in between.
At its core though, marketing is moving people.
It is about moving people from unknown to known.
From inaction to action.
From participant to advocate.
Marketing is storytelling.
Great marketing gets you on the list.
Great marketing gets you in the cart.
Great marketing gets you in the heart.
So what do I do?
I move people.
